Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question we haven't answered? We're always happy to hear from you.

Who can reach out to We. Us.?
Anyone. You don't need to belong to a particular group or have a specific label to deserve support. Individuals, families and community members are all welcome. See Who We Serve.
What if I'm not sure what kind of help I need?
That's completely okay. Some people know exactly what they need, while others simply know something needs to change. We'll listen, help you identify your needs and explore options together.
What happens after I reach out?
Someone from our team will get back to you to learn a little about your situation and what matters to you. From there, we'll work with you to identify next steps. That might be support from us, a referral to another service, or connection to a community program.
Do you provide all services directly?
Not always. We provide some support directly, and we also help connect people with other community organizations and qualified providers. If your needs go beyond what we offer, we'll help you find the right place to go.
Is what I share kept confidential?
Yes. We respect your privacy and handle your information with care. The only exceptions are legal limits, such as a risk of serious harm to yourself or others or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable person. We'll explain these clearly.
Do you offer group programs or workshops?
Yes. Depending on program availability, we offer group wellness programming, community gatherings and educational workshops. Organizations can also contact us to request a workshop or presentation.
Can my organization partner with you?
We'd love to hear from you. We work with community organizations, professionals, institutions and service providers to strengthen access to support. Visit Get Involved or contact us.
How can I volunteer or donate?
Visit our Get Involved page to learn about volunteering, partnerships and donations.
What if I'm in crisis?
We are not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline) any time, call the Alberta Mental Health Help Line at 1-877-303-2642, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency department.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Whether you know exactly what you need or only that something needs to change, reach out. Together, we'll find the next step.
